Lauren has been with the Foundation since November 2017 as a representative of the Mt. Crested Butte Town Council. She believes the character of our Valley is created by the people who live here, and is part of what draws visitors to keep coming back. She doesn’t want those characteristics to disappear as housing prices increase. Living in Crested Butte was a dream of Lauren’s for a very long time, and she says she is happy to call this Valley home.
In addition to her service on the GVHF Board, she is currently serving as the Mayor Pro Tem for Mt. Crested Butte and is a member of CBMBA and HCCA.
Lauren has lived in Mt. Crested Butte for the last four years and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, riding horses, hiking and bench-sitting.
