Kevin was raised in rural New York State and received a B.S. with a major in Biology from Haverford College near Philadelphia. His major professor was at Swarthmore College and introduced him to the Rocky Mt. Biological Laboratory in Gothic where Kevin was a student, and upon graduation, a research assistant. After several summers as a mercenary biologist he settled full time into the building profession in his newly adopted home of Rockbridge County, Virginia.
He started doing occasional building projects for RMBL and as a result met his wife, Sonda, also a Lab employee. They have lived in Gunnison County since 1995, now with two daughters. MB (Mo’ Bettah) Builders LLC continues to build in the County and is happiest when building energy efficient smaller homes and historic rehabilitations.
